We Loved Gemma!

There has been a new addition to Kate's family.  They have a new puppy called Gemma (Gem for short).  She is a chocolate labrador.  We all think she is so cute!  Gemma visited us on Friday.  It was a great way to finish the week, being able to have a cuddle with such a cute puppy.

CO2 Cars: Finished and ready to RACE!!!

Room 16 has worked extremely hard, with the help of Kristine and mums and dads to paint, add graphics and seal their cars.  We've fixed on the dragster wheels and are all now ready to race!  We wonder which cars will go the fastest.

Awesome CO2 Cars!!!

Room 16 along with the children of the Year 3/4 Team have been flat out making CO2 cars which we are going to race. We have worked hard to shape, sand, glue and paint our cars.  They look awesome.  A huge THANK YOU needs to go out to the mums and dads who have offered their time, skills and tools to help us.  We couldn't have done it without you!

Yesterday we had so much fun making vehicles which matched a design brief.  Anna and Chris from Science Alive were fantastic at helping us to be creative and really think about the challenge we had.  Check out our cool photos.
